Lou Reed's title song from his quirky 1973 Album, Berlin. This is my small tribute to the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall on 10 November 1989. Also see my music video with Toni Fisher singing her 1962 hit 'West of the Wall.

Just had my first visit to Berlin, and this song means even more. I first was a fan age 13 - I stole the LP from my 19 year old brother.

@DILLIGAF425 I was 17, not too young any more myself, I know exactly what you mean, I lost the album (it was lifted at a party) and I had played it every day for months; couldn't afford to replace it in those days, so I went without. When I listen I feel like that young girl again, magical.
