@tweetlebugzz but 0 waste! :) not eating the whole animal is a fairly modern phenomenom actually haha. Before, no matter where you went, people never wasted much of an animal including the innards, eyes, etc.

@teppo42 haha, yeah. but you usually mix shrimp paste with other stuff. shrimp paste on its own is way too powerful and not meant to be consumed directly

well the idea is to cut it off and then eat it, not sucking on it while the bull is out in the fields. Trust me it's less horrifying if you prepared the parts first.
oh i feel like i want to move in to Vietnam ..its way better to go a humble but proffesioned restourant ,eat and pay only for food rather than decoration ,ambiance ,fancy names on menu under shadow of some snobbish looking waiter and feel "sophisticated "i love asian style dining ,functional ,practical and natural all the way ..regards from Turkey
