2:41 what's that playing, an organ? synthesizer? i've always wondered what is that... other than that, such a beautiful song

This makes me high :3

I'm not the religious sort and religion has nothing
to do with this as far as I'm concerned.
This is just the most beautiful music and singing I've had
the pleasure to listen to. Not the movie, play, or
other productions - this album only.
I first heard it in '71, still have the rubber edition
and booklet that came with it. Just keep making
recordings from it to the latest media.

Just saw the Des McAnuff directed revival of this at the La Jolla Playhouse. It's heading to Broadway in March. Amazing! I've seen it live before, but nothing like this. I bet it will win a Tony for Best Revival. Check it out when it gets to Broadway.

@jordanmacintosh702 Also on the album are Mike D'Abo of Manfred Mann (he sings King Herod), Johnny Gustafson of The Big Three, The Merseybeats, and Quatermass (he sings Simon Zealotes), Tony Ashton of the Remo Four and Ashton, Gardner, & Dyke (he sings some backup parts), and even Gary Glitter (credited as Paul Raven, he sings the High Priest).

@jordanmacintosh702 Like others have said, Ian Gillan (of Deep Purple and Black Sabbath) sang Jesus, but the rock band on this album is the Grease Band (who backed Joe Cocker: Bruce Rowland on drums; Henry McCullough on lead guitar - he later played in Wings; Alan Spenner on bass; Neil Hubbard on rhythm guitar).
ive the tattoo of the logo xD
