finally got my 2003 rm125 running after all new cases, bearing, seals, gaskets, piston, rings, circlips, wrist pin bearing, cs sprocket, powervalve linkage arm, etc. The list goes on.

Right now though the bike is pulling on its own in gear and when the clutch is pulled in the engine will rev up on its own and then try to bog down and die if i don't give it gas. When i do give it gas whether its in gear or nutral or even if the clutch is in the bike continues to rev high after for a couple of moments. tell me if you think you know what the problem is!

I have adjusted the throttle stop screw which helped a bit, but I'm still having the same problem. So far i have rerouted the throttle cable, cleaned the carb. tried a larger pilot jet, checked for vacuum leaks on the air boot and i don't think my thottle is sticking? (may be wrong, not sure)

If you think you know what it is just post a comment, thanks!

  • @kalzx you sir are an idiot, it is clearly a 125 and an rm look at the pipe and listen to it

  • if you didnt fix it yet, put the clip on the needle one notch down and try adjusting the air screw whats it set at? its obviously running lean for some reason. did you try spraying carbcleaner/ starting fluid around the whole carb and cylinder to check for airleaks
