  • she's so out of her element singing in english here

  • Shakira had a bad cold that day too. That was revealed immediately after the performance when GLORIA ESTEFAN interviewed her briefly. No joke, Gloria Estefan was covering for Rosie for a couple of days at that time!

I remember this episode so fondly because it was Shakira's absolute first time on ENGLISH American television.

    So, everything make sense now?

I thought she was going to sing "Ciega, sordomuda," which was already a hit at that time.

  • @sunder99online NO. you can't.

    que le sale nice =P

  • necesito todos sus discos.. solo tengo 3.. =(

  • Keep in mind haters, she didn't even learn english until 2001, this performance took place a good 2-3 years before she really started learning english.

  • Can I get all the messages in English only. thanks

  • It is a very nice translation I must say, but the poetry behind the first two verses of the chorus in Spanish, is totally missing in English: El cielo se ha cansado ya de ver la lluvia caer... (the sky has already exhausted itself of seeing the rain falling).
