The Shim Sham was choreographed by Leonard Reed in 1927. It quickly became a very popular dance at the Vaudeville Circuit. All the performers would do their separate acts and then everyone would come together at the end and do the Shim Sham together so everybody was expected to know this dance. It is a traditional way to end the show so I hope you enjoy it and come back next year!
