Heard this over 11 years ago but it really strikes me listenign tot his after having listened to "Godspeed you Black Emperor" for awhile. All their fast parts sound like this!

Thanks for posting this. I'm a longtime fan of Glenn Branca's work and have nothing but respect for him as a composer and as a visionary. He's surely not the first or last to work with the harmonic series but he's one of the most original.
Major props to anyone willing to use "vulgar" rock instruments (and untrained rock & punk musicians) as their primary conduit for formal orchestral works. And then the chutzpah to try and tame a phenomenon of nature itself...just amazing and inspiring!

Whenever people tell me that post-rock was born in the 90's I direct them to this piece and Pink Floyd's Saucerful of Secrets (Live at Pompeii).
