ADOM is a roguelike game. These are groups of games that use ASCII characters instead of graphics, are highly adictive and have stood the test of time. Another popular roguelike game is Nethack.

@complexpower Give it a try, ADOM uses colours and is easy on the eyes. I find tiles a bit noisy and ugly looking, also I easily recognise roguelike ASCII creatures, while tile icons of creatures confuse me.
I have heard rumours that Thomas Biskup might release the source code, if he does I'm sure someone will create tiles for the game soon enough.
In any case, ADOM is worth a try just for the depth of the game.

This looks like a good roguelike. I'd try it out if only it had tiles, I just can't handle ascii.
