you can see how he influenced Battles, he was like the bright sounds, the happyness, the fun, i'm pretty sure Ice Cream was his idea, battles is plain without him.
-
hes already on par with Zappa, Stravinsky, Thelonious Monk, his father, and cecil taylor.

Tyondai solo work is awesome, but I miss him in Battles.

@AnyongSejong There's a fair amount of contemporary classical with newer textures. But not just contemp. I think it's a great mix of all kinds of things. He has a great understanding of the power behind music.
Unfortunately I don't think this type of thing is the sort of universal thing that appeals to the great masses. Only people who aren't annoyed easily by "different" sounds and patterns.
This work is very unique stuff, a treasure for all who are in the know.

So far there are no dislikes. They must be afraid of the butcher!

@AnyongSejong i know
He's slowly, but surely rising to the ranks of those like Zappa in his creativity and musical sense. Definitely not for the masses, but for those who can appreciate, man, what a treasure.
