Tensions escalate on Korean peninsula - 16 Feb 09

South Korea has placed its navy on high alert near the disputed sea border following North Korea's recent announcement that all peace deals were off.

Al Jazeera's Harry Fawcett reports from South Korea's Yonpyong Do island, just a few kilometres from the North Korean border.

Not to generalize, but SKoreans antagonize. Period. They antagonized the Japanese and they still do about Dokdo and they antagonize the North Koreans in the East Sea. Then they want the U.S. to pay attention to problems they create. Ignore them. They act like children.

I Suppose so. The South has plenty of trained manpower and better technology than the North.
