hendrix man. people complain that it sucks to live in our generation but i think its pretty awesome. we get to witness jimi hendrix, and other bands of the 50, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and truly appreciate how great that music is because of the shit thats currently on tv and radio.

@KAWT1 I can't. but as was previously stated, I can't play. I need a lot of "fancy shmancy" crap to convey the notion that I can play more than three notes. Anyway, I think Strats and Teles sound completely different.

i feel like posting it on a hendrix page is probably wiser than posting anywhere else. im just looking for opinions from people who enjoy music that pushes creative boundaries. many people liked what i had to say so maybe you guys will enjoy the sounds from my head. thanks for all who check it out

@dreekd80 That is only if you can't play and you need a bunch of fancy smancy equitment. ok. i was just trying to inform anyone who was interested how to get that sound. but if it makes you feel good to shit on me... do what you do brother.

if you play guitar and you want the Hendrix/B.O.G. sound, you need these:

a Strat or really any Fender other than a Tele; a tube amp (a Marshall if you really want to be authentic); a Fuzzface pedal; a crybaby wah; a vibe pedal (BBE Soul Vibe, Moen Shaky Jimi, Fulltone UniVibe, any of those or another will do); a good Octave pedal (octave up).

I've got all that shit (Strat thru PV Delta Blues 115, bbe soul vibe, red fuzzface, MicroPOG octave, ERnie Ball wah) and it sounds friggin GREAT!!!!!!!!
