  • when is it ever that easy to remove a fuel filter? by the time the fuel filter needs to be replaced the fuel lines will need to be replaced as well.

  • @workensmart Thanks for the comment. The saw in the video is my personal saw. The saw is 15 years old and the fuel lines are actually in very good condition. It is a good idea to replace the fuel filter along with the air filter and spark plug at least once a year, more if the saw is used professionally.

    Thanks for watching,

    -Mark

  • @dukeflem Ive got a tool from oregon that slips over the chain for sharperning angles and filing your rakers properly and its got a bar groove cleaner on the end, best 5 dollar investment ever, everyone that has a saw should have one.

  • This was a very helpful video on maintaining a chainsaw. I would suggest cleaning the groove in the bar that the chain runs in using a paperclip or thin piece of metal; making sure the oil hole in the bar is clear; and turning the bar over each time to even the wear on the bar.

  • Excellent video!! Thank you so very much for providing this very instructional video on how to clean and tune up a chain saw. This is the only video on You Tube that provides such information. Again, thank you.

  • Am a new chainsaw user, I liked the info on how to clean a chainsaw. Thank you from Jordan - Middle East.
