This painting is made on a cradled hardboard. These are very smooth and really good for shading with colored pencils and for collage. I used a picture of my son as inspiration, and he has an ongoing love affair with trucks. The perspective of the truck is terrible, the wheels are so badly drawn I feel awful about it, but I made the mistake of drawing it in ink instead of using pencil first.

i think it's beautiful..
i realize the truck is out of whack..but you know..nobody knows you didn't want it that way, and it looks cool just the same.
