A short documentary about Dublin set back in the 1960s by Brendan Behan, author of The Borstal Boy and The Quare Fellow. Very rare, enjoy. Soundtrack by The Dubliners.

  • It's not Brendan commentating. It's Pat Kavanagh.

    But why/

  • @orchardcottage It was done that way to create a sort of "homemade film" effect. Unfortunately, it makes Pat a bit difficult to hear in parts, unless you turn the volume all of the way up. Unfortunately, I think this caused a lot of people to dismiss the film, and eventually pushed the film into obscurity.. All the same, I love it. It's a beautiful film.
