Sometimes when things happen to us,painful, it change us from what we've been, we fell on the ground, and we are too weak to stand and go on our lives, but God our Father gave his only Son Jesus Christ to deliver us from these. Now we stand in the promise that God has plan for us, plans to prosper us and and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. We are being held by our loving Father. And we'll say to the Lord "He is my refuge, and my fortress: My God, in him I will trust."

"That is why, for Christ's sake, we delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when we are weak, then we are strong."-2Cor12:10

This song is beautiful in so many ways. The promise is that we will be held in hard times, not that everything will work out the way we want it too. It's taken me a long time to realize it, but God has been with me through everything in my life, not just the sacred moments we have. My dad is verbally abusive, and for so long i was mad at God for allowing me to be put through it. I went through severe stages of depression and then finally i knew. We have to fall before God can pick us back up

I was once told, Never love anyone or anything more than God. When they the people or the material things are gone, God will always be there. Always. this is what it means to be held. Through good times and bad, God somehow provides the inner peace that gets a through when the sacred has been torn from our life. This is what it means to be held.
