got a message CCO stands for Concealed Carry Officer, I had heard that before, just found it odd, a standard Officers model would be more concealable so calling it Concealed Carry Officer would make more sense. ;)
Guess maybe Colt Commanding Officer is only for Colt CCO's :p

I believe the CCO on the slide stands for Colt Commanding Officer, or it did when Colt first started making CCO's. Commander slide on an Officer frame.

Can't believe I missed so many of you vidyas. Pretty crazy how those safeties work.
That frame really looks bad ass, but the trigger guard reminds me of the Beretta PX4 storm for some reason...

I like it that OD frame looks sharp

not sure i feel about a dao 1911. but if a department says no Cocked and locked then there you go.
i own the same gun. the cco is carry conceal option.
i actualy work for para in north carolina.
you pistol also contains a power extractor that is available ONLY in para guns.
back strap is called grip safety. and the 3.5 barrel is RAMPED inside to make feeding and extracting smooth and fast. very nice weapon indeed.

@MultiGuitarman53 its one of my favorites and i enjoy having this weapon for work. it took a while to save the money for the pistol but no complaints from me.
