When I was there, Crown had a terrific staff, friendly and knowlegable, where College 8 had pathetic staff and counselors (at that time). Get to know these people, your success is somewhat in their hands. They can encourage you, and they can discourage you. They can make things clear or get you SO confused.

Kresge has much more interesting dorms. If you are in the process of choosing a college to live in.. take a tour of Kresge. And VERY important, put the clerical people you depend on to the test. Are they friendly? Knowledgable?
It does help to live on campus to experience university life. I'm from Aptos, so I didn't and missed out on field trips and getting to know peers well.
It is much more difficult to get into UCB than UCSC. By far.

@Drkepilogue Thanks for uploading the video, at least I know what my dorm may look like. I'll be living at that college. Is there room to put in a mini fridge in there?

@dareal429 yes there is. We can fit one tv, and a mini fridge and still some room. As long as not everyone is bringing a fridge and a TV, space shouldnt be too much of a problem in a small triple.
