Ya know, the really interesting thing about this scene is that Jon apparently got wind that Roy Scheider used to live around the area where this was filmed and would often go out jogging... so they considered stalking him with the camera and filming him, then showing the guy pop out and 'kill' him.
Too bad they didn't do that, would have been great!
