  • I find this style of video a lot easier to follow -- no annoying backtracking but slow enough for beginners to pick it up throughout the many repetitions from different angles.

    And pleasant music. Nice job.

  • Great job of showing close enough to see & good camera position! This is the best video I could find on the continental knit stitch where you can actually see the yarn movement good enough. Thank you!

  • Really clear, thank you so much x

  • I've used continental knitting my whole life. When I see videos that show left handed English knitting, it just seems so slow! It is too many extra movements. Continental is so smooth. I love it.

  • Do you have the video tutorial on continental purl?

  • i just started to learn how to knit and made a whole scarf i finaly came to learn how to cast of and realize o man why is everyone holding the yarn on the other hand haha then i saw this vid and im glad that i wasnt just lucky the scarf came out looking good and i was actually doing the continental method thanks for the vid and if i might ask why is it called continental

  • You must have the camera strapped to your head or something!

  • Oh! That's the way my granny taught me :D I was thinking of picking up knitting again~ I'm gonna be living on my own really soon, and I don't have proper winter gear of my own yet, so I was planning to make some myself~ I want to make a scarf with two colors... but I don't know how to alternate colors yet!

  • I've been "knitting" on a round loom for the past few weeks and wanted to move on to the real thing. Your videos have made it extremely easy to get started. Thank you for all the hard work you put into these!

  • ha ha, you don't have to wrap the yarn around the pinkie as shown here, i've always done it 'continental' but this does not work for me either, i just hold the yarn gently pressed to my palm with a pinkie and the finger next to it.
