  • bill lawry is superd

  • @youandyamum This was at VFL Park, Waverley, in Melbourne's eastern suburbs (specifically Mulgrave). The ground was sold by its owners, the Australian Football League, in about 2000-2001 to a housing development company. The oval itself remains intact, as do some of the stands, and is used as a training ground for Hawthorn Football Club. The surrounds (old parking lot etc) now consists of housing. Google/Wiki "Waverley Park" for more info.

  • maxolgica....she's discussing her stamp collection in the hotel room after the game no doubt.

  • @1137moiz forget that, what about the super tests. Those matches were series top shelf and no stats are included anywhere not even first class stats recorded. Yet they include mickey mouse Bangladesh tests and previous Zimbabwe tests in official stats. This is one of the reasons i can't take it too seriously anymore!

  • @SPOOKSTR sorry but you are at least 3 years out. This was world series cricket around 78. The one day stuff with Trevor Chappell was around 81.

  • @losers638 No mate, this was just part of the wonder that was WSC in the 70's. The World Cup closest to this was the 1977 outing in the UK, the first 3 World Cups were all in the UK.

  • @SPOOKSTR actually the underarm incident was in 1981

  • Im fairly certain that 6 was the reason Greg Chappell gave the order to bowl the underarm delivery against NZ, if memory serves me correct, the AUST vs NZ game was the week following the game above. Plz correct me if im wrong.

  • @losers638 - World Series Cricket. Australia. Breakaway competition financed and run by Kerry Packer. I think it was the 1st season of it. This match played at VFL park in Geelong (could be wrong about that).

  • @maxlogica Obviously someone who likes coloured men hung like Baboons!! Lol
