Robert - Portland Rescue Mission

Robert came to us after years of drug use starting at age 13, he was incarcerated from age 15 to 18, then suffered severe medical problems and entered multiple detox programs for alcoholism. He lost his job, his home, his wife and his son.

Today, Robert is a machinist, making useful tools out of raw materials -- much like God has done for him. "A miracle has happened - I'm alive, I'm sober...the Mission saved my life."
