Purdue Pumpkin Patch 2008

This 15 minute show loops over and over during the night. Featured here is just a couple of the songs.

Here's a pretty good list of the igredients that went into this show:

7 small lighted pumpkins (2 glow red)
1 large lighted pumpkin
2 medium lighted pumpkins
2 strobe lights
8 strands of LED lights
4 long poles painted black.
1 sign telling you to tune to 99.1 FM
1 police light
1 fog machine
3 bales of straw
Some good ol' fashioned pumpkins
A skeleton ghost guy
1 Light-o-rama unit
16 extension cords
1 new Acer laptop (I had to break down for this)
1 medium class radio transmitter with a short (3-house) range

I'm running shows 7:30-9:30 pm on the weekdays and 7:30-10:30 pm on the weekends from now until the day after Halloween.

Here's a video clip that my wife and I made of some final footage of the whole shebang out on the front lawn. As far as holiday light shows go from your standard hobbyist, this is still a bit on the smaller scale, but it was quite a learning experience for me and you have to start somewhere. I hope to grow it a bit more as the years roll on. We'll have to see. Happy Halloween!
