After your fingerfehler I felt like i was watching one of Kingscrushers games....for sure he would capture with his g pawn intentionally.

According to Wiktionary...
"Fehler" (German noun: fault, mistake, error)
is from "fehlen" (German verb: to lack, to be absent, to fail)
which is from "fallere" (Latin verb: deceive, cheat, dissapoint)
which is from "*gʰwel" (Proto-Indo-European verb: to lie, to deceive)
The English word "fail" is a cognate of German "Fehler".

Fingerfehler its an obligatory move of a piece that was touched by accident. "finger mistake". I wonder if there is no way around this defence after Nc6

i understand the Fingerfehler must mean "blunder" or "moved too quick before thinking" but what exactly is the literal translation?
Is Finger "finger" and what is Fehler?
Thanks! Good game anyway.

@7blekky7 "Fingerfehler" It is said when you move a piece (too quickly) without really having the intention to do so.
