Simon Yong - Modal Jam

The legendary Ibanez UV7BK 1991 model which I recently bought from the incredible retired-guitar-addict Mr Angel Yong, set up beautifully by the wonderful Vincent Mah whom also made her a customized carbon fibre green edge pick guard.

The feel is superb and comfortable, probably the best among all other 7 strings I've ever fingered! Recorded with the ZOOM Q3, I didn't use any external distortion pedal or any effects, except a small delay pedal which goes direct to my small practice Marshall amp. The tone is sweet!

I've not use her live yet... but most likely with Zero Sequence at the upcoming IGNITE! Music Festival! Woohoo!!!

@Andrewsonfire That's when UV7BK's were made. 1990 to 1993. Then again in 1997 but they changed the green to black and it was really boring.
