Jerry Cantrell himself defines them as a blend between heavy metal & early Sabbath-esque bluesy sound which resulted in a raw sludgy sound.

Now this is what I'm talking about. Heavy, thick guitar riffs backed by crazy drums and bass that just melt your face off. Perfect harmonies from DuVall and Cantrell and DuVall gets breathing room to sing how the hell he wants. You can't get any better than this and I hope AiC continues on this path.

This song is extremely bad ass. The whole album itself was bad ass. I don't mind Duvall, but I just can't help myself imagining how epic this album would have been if Layne was on vocals.

why in the hell be pissed at someone because there gone? it will never be the same without Layne but give AIC some credit at least they pay respect to the guy by trying there best to keep his one of a kind style and they do one hell of a job of it also,I think in time given 99% of true AIC fans will hear these guys be back to a greatness that will or could be as good or even better,FACE IT THE MAN HAS THE VIBE OF LAYNES SPIRIT WHEN HE SINGS AND WITH THAT ANY FUCKIN THING CAN HAPPEN!

You guys who say the new AIC sucks are a bunch of idiots. Of course this guy isn't Layne, NO ONE IS LAYNE! Be happy that AIC found this guy, he has his own style and when he performs old songs he sings them very well. I don't think there's a better substitute. Besides, this album is KILLER, why do you keep criticising it? Have you heard music nowadays, now there's something worth criticising. If you don't like new AIC go listen to something else! You could do a lot worse than the new AIC.
