Niva drive shafts are about as strong as cheese! Even with the standard motor they break easy as pie!

the best thing to do is to make new rear arms or reinforce them with angel iron.tore mine apart the same wayto stop the front diff from being pushed up into the motor in built a frame thast goes out the diff an bolts to where the anti roll bars was an removed it to get more wheel travel.
