No I disagree. There's tons of white guys who think they're black and talk like that, especially in Florida, Jersey and New York. I don't see too many people under 25 like that because the crack epidemic and NWA disappeared, but the white guys that grew up as teens in the 80's and 90's sounded like that. The accent is the most impressive thing to me about the performance because it really reminds me this guy named G in my neighborhood lol. I think Oldman really did his homework.

We're ready to negotiate!
Man, what's with the light thingy, cool, lol!!
I love this shit, such a badass!
I love Gary Oldman's other films as well, such as Fifth Element and The Professional, he kicks ass!
Seriously, he needs an Oscar \ _ /

@settings99 I try to look at Oscars as a joke, it's insulting that he's never been nominated. He is by far the most talented male actor out there because he can immerse himself into any character and truly make it his and make it believable. I mean look at his career, amazing characters even if the movies aren't the best. Extremely underrated, so much talent, so little recognition.

The Oscars are a joke. Why? Gary Oldman (which to me is one of the top 3 greatest actors living) has never been nominated. Even in the 90's which was to me the decade of his best performances. The Scarlet Letter, Bram Stoker's Dracula, True Romance, The Professional, Immortal Beloved, Hannibal? Still no nomination? How can I take the Oscars seriously?

gary oldman must be the most underrated actor ever. easily up there with De Niro and Pacino as one of the best in terms of acting ability but he's always been more low key. he's one of the only people that could pull off this role
