This is an exceedingly rare Burroughs Selfscan ring counter - the only example of a planar-style glow transfer dekatron currently known. The Selfscan display is being driven by an unmodified Yilane YS-610 dekatron spinner.

  • How can I get my hands on one of these? I've been looking everywhere, and there is so little information about them online!

  • @xmtsystems As far as we know, this is a one-of-a-kind piece. We have never found another Selfscan display of this type before.

  • Let's beat up the one guy who disliked this...

  • @hp2114b ty. I ask mainly because in your description, you say "exceedingly rare" (which implies there are more out there), rather than one of a kind. Thank you for sharing this video though. Very cool stuff!
