@gmaster999 Thats the thing, we cant control people, we can only educate them about the consequences.We will never be able to forcibly save people who don't want to be saved Once we understand that the better off we will be. And mistakes arnt always a bad thing as long as you learn from the experience you will probably be better off in the long run, mistakes built character, its only when we dont learn that we truly fail. As for weed I dont think it falls under a mistake like eating an appleisnt

@elsemerian Yeah sure, of corase, but people will still make bad jugements even when educated. Wheather its out of couristey, pure pressure, or whatever. Few people will follow the correct path without slipping up or "experimenting". You make a solid point but I dont see the majority of people doing the right thing. Small exmaple..Teen Pregenys.. How many times are we told to where protection, but kids still have sex without protection? .. this could go on with so many viables

If weed is a "gateway drug" its because the law made it that way. When you group a natural harmless plant with artificial chemicals that will kill you under the umbrella term of "drugs". You trick people into classifying their effects as the same. So when a kid does pot and sees that its totally harmless it makes the law seem foolish and opens the door to disregarding the whole system and treating all drugs the same.

@gmaster999 your right and wrong. weed is a gateway drug because in order to get it you have to open the gate of interacting with drug dealers. Its an entire society that brings you one spontaneous decision away from trying a harder drug, because most dealers have access to alot of shit. Legalization would allow people to never enter that society in the first place, never have to go get weed and say no coke or worse drugs. Its not the chemical that changes you, its the underground society

you are a monkey....destructive people are going to destroy themselves on whatever they can get their hands on. people with functioning brains, unlike yourself, can wade through bullshit propaganda.(the blanketing of all drugs under the category of "bad") if anything, combining pot with the slightest bit of KNOWLEDGE has the exact opposite effect of a gateway drug.

I don't personally see cannabis as a gateway drug. If there is such a thing as a "gateway" drug, it's alcohol. But that's assuming there's a "gate" to open. Also, you say tobacco is okay because of peer pressure or stress? The same goes for cannabis, except it's better for you and more effective, with less health detriment. Alcohol and tobacco are drugs just the same, there's no reason for cannabis to be illegal when there are legal substances that are more harmful.

@Mrdewd1 hmm the tabacco is okay, thats usually peer pressure or just stress in their life and they are looking for an escape. but please dont compare milk to alcohol. ones a drug and one isn't but i get your point , kinda.

pot is a drug and it does open the "gate to other drugs" is what i meant.
