I think people put too much weight into race and racism. Its just another insult, but one to your race rather than your intelligence or whatever else people might use as a weak point to insult. Its not that hard to brush off insults of any kind whether its racist, sexist, or anythin of any nautre, especially when the insult is a generalization rather than directly to you individually. Think of this when your young and gay you have no where to turn,,when your black you have a visable community to turn to,,and family and neighborhoods etc,,they are differnt,,but it is very hard to be young and gay.
