Nikon D90 Video Test

Here is the video mode on the Nikon D90, using the kit 24-105. I don't think there is auto focus in video mode, nor did i remember if VR works while shooting video. Nevertheless, its pretty cool to have video in an SLR in my opinion and could be used in some creative way though, my finger brushes over the mic...its not what you think haha. But a MONO mic? come on Nikon, the first SLR to shoot video and you put a MONO mic in there? i can see the D100 having a mic jack, but only time will tell, or, wait for the RED slr that's coming out...

First off, your CAPS appears to be stuck, Second, an SLR shooting video will not autofocus.

At 0:47 it sounded like the camera farted. I hope that's not a new "feature" that Nikon didn't tell us about lol. Thanks for the video =)

Nope strange, since it does when in the normal live view mode.

does the d90 make a clicking sound trying to auto focus in video mode?

also does d90 playback sound right after your done recording in video mode?

it is still going thro my mind....that i get me a D90 ..just for the video...but i'll wait.

i have a D200 to sell whenever Nikon come up with even better video i guess...or if the prive goes down on the D90.

manual focus, maybe they'll figure out an auto focus soon :)

Would the Video quality become better if you have a pro level lens? makes me think.

Oh sorry my mistake lol, i thought you bought the D90 not the D80.

Then yeah the D80 is nice, but the D80 will still serve you quite well. Better than my camera.

I know how you feel, i almost bought my DSLR, than decided to wait for a new model to come out which i felt would happen.

I do hate it when that happens. Camera's are like computers, just constantly being updated and so on, hard to stay with the latest technology.
