@308RoadReady - I've never seen an L8. I used to drive an L6 230 Chevy back in the 60s. I also remember replacing the integrated intake-head on the 250 L6 in the Chevy truck. Then came the V6 which were garbage, disposable automobiles in the late 70s, thanks to Chrystler's "a corporate con", thereby forcing people to buy new in shorter time-frames. Capitalism...Corporatism...sunk the Titanic (USA)....

@saintveil the buick inline 8 used up until 1955 (when all models used the nailhead) used a overhead valve inline 8 which were very torquey like the nailhead that replaced them. Buicks always were known for making damn reliable cars (more so then cadillac even!)

gotta love how if it stalls when you're under da hood you just give it WOT and it fires right back up. I have confused some people doing that with mine.
