  • Doesn't look like it is The Lamp Of Childhood.

  • @ahniditab - At 0:21, I think it's Lamp of Childhood. They performed both days. They followed The Doors the first day and The Fifth Dimension the second day. I think the guy to the left is Marty Tryon. In the center may be John York, who later was with The Byrds for a short time. There's a bit of info if you search the internet. The man on the right I can't identify, but did find that they often used a substitute for their "studio only" keyboardist Gabriel Mekler.

  • @sarjane62

    Its definitely not Moby Grape.

  • Yeah, right. The Beatles too.Oh, and Dylan on backing vocals.

  • As sonnycrane said, the guy in 12 & 17 looks like Neil Young, but it's Joe Tate from New Salvation Army Banned. He now plays ukelele & sings at the No Name Bar in Sausalito, CA. 19 is Byrds David Crosby, Chris Hillman, and it must be Michael Clarke on drums, also shown in closeup in #20, tho I'm not positive about that, as he looks different with short hair. He was their drummer at this time, tho.

  • 3: the Byrds, 7: Jorma Kaukonen, 8: Paul Kantner, 6: Grace Slick, 12 & 17 sure looks a bit like Neil Young but actually he's a member of the Salvation just like thesyd1975 mentioned. At least 9 & 11 are also from Salvation (maybe still under the name "New Salvation Army Banned" at that point.) 16: Grace Slick & David Crosby in the middle. 18 - 20 Byrds.

  • The grey matter must be failing me. I didn't recognize very many of these musicians. Maybe, I need stronger eyeglasses :-)! It's odd somehow, since I grew up with this music. However, they hailed from a time when music mattered the most, and it had something to say other than, "get high -- everybody get high!" People were more pro-active back then. We need to catch their spirit, once more and reorganize The Occupy Movement in 2012. Hope, Light, Music, and Love to all in 2012.

  • @sarjane62 definitely not

  • Wow, what a trip to the past. Thanks for sharing
