This is a very short video of my pirouette training with my Blade 400. This is the second time I attempted simple pirouettes today. The first was not recorded.

Enjoy!

  • I cant get mine to stay in the air for more then 2or 3 seconds. I gave up after I destroyed my 4th or 5th set of blades(on the same battery). suppose I should have learned how to fly my cx better first. :(

  • @theoriginalJASONXYZ I use a sim to practice and that helps alot. Also the new blade SR is a better choice to step up to from a CX in my opinion.

  • yes really nice landing...

  • @SuckeroftheYear thanks

  • Nice heli, vid and shirt. I have a Blade 400, nice heli! As of this vid, I am doing my first rolls, loops and stal turnes. :) have fun! (I will subscribe)

  • @Frerunr722 Thats good to hear. Thanks for watching.

  • Eric thats are spins :D

    greetz from germany :D

    But nice flight ^^

  • @chiQiboy The rx servos and gyros that come with it are very decent... very serviceable. A faster tail servo and a better gyro would lock the heading in better. But it really does very well just stock.

  • cant wait to fly mine

  • Nice flying man.Im looking at moving to a cp heli like this and have seen 'RTF' (yeh right!) versions with dx6i tx for aound £200.Roughly how much more dyou think id need to spend to get decent servos,rx and gryos? as im assuming the stock parts that come with the cheap RTF kits will be made of chocolate!.

  • That was a common problem when i started Piroutte's.I think its just a natural instinct to chop the throttle a little. As you gain confidence in Piroutting the dropping of the chopper diminshes i found. We all start out at the beginning.Nice job.

  • what does Pirouette mean? thanks

  • @joehandsome99 Hey Eric...how are you doing? well, i took training cross off a while back and all is going really well! i also have blade sr but, i find the 400 is much easier to fly..maybe cos it is heavier and just more stable...anyway..all is cool. oh..i like your boat vids! cheers rob

  • so how is this compare to the t-rex 450 se pro?

  • @frankovich213 thanks for the advice, I almost could have bought the sim with the money I spent on blades already.

  • @theoriginalJASONXYZ I'm in the same boat mate. I've flown mine once and it crashed after 3 seconds. I repaired it but instead of trying again I just bit the bullet and bought the G5 simulator. I was expensive but nothing compared to what I would've have spent on repairs. The thing with the sim is you can have unlimited crashes and you can practice for as long as you want instead of 8 minutes at a time in real life with batteries and what not. It's fun to master the planes too, you might prefer.
