From the manual of the Precipitator machine, "Water with higher dissolved solids (contaminants) will become darker."

  • Animals know best ;-) I'd follow their lead.

  • The FDA does not care about you!

  • @tyler361549 It is a scientific fact tap water is filled with all kinds of contaminants. The air is polluted which makes all water polluted. Tests have proven tap water has over thousands of contaminants. Scientists agree distilled water is the purest water which is why they use it in experiments. Not to mention the FDA purposely adds more contaminants to make people unhealthy. Among these is fluoride which they want you to think is good for your teeth. Stop defending something that is poison.

  • @evilwarlockofchaos Im curious/interested cause i just purchased a Brita and have been temporarily in the midst of buying distilled or reverse osmosis jugs of water (about 4 litre jugs here in Canada depending on brand) and am wondering if its worth the continuation.. im assuming it specifies on the bottle if carbon filteration is applied.. and also how nessisary is this 'carbon filteration'? depending on health risks and etc? i know theres alot of other variables, but by estimate

  • @Whyrweherereally Sometimes. Distilled water can contain organic chemicals with boiling points below 212 degrees F and while reverse osmosis removes all virtually all contaminants to at least some extent, it doesn't remove 100 percent of them. Carbon filtration in conjunction with distillation or reverse osmosis can help remove many of the contaminants these methods may have missed. Some grocery stores and Wal-Marts have filtration machines that use a combination of methods.

  • @evilwarlockofchaos Is this process also used in distillation of water, or reverse osmosis?

  • @Whyrweherereally Activated carbon is carbon treated with oxygen that results in the carbon having many, many microscopic pores. It is used both commercially and in many home water filters, such as Brita and Pure. It is most effective in the removal of organic chemicals and chlorine, odors, colors, and bad taste. Not all filters are equal. Many remove heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury, arsenic, etc) but do not assume so unless the manufacturer states it does. One toxin not removed is fluoride

  • @evilwarlockofchaos activated carbon filtering? what is this really and when (if ever) is it used?

  • Distilled water - 'DUH' 'STILL' 'WATER'

  • where to get the electrolisis machine you use? how its called?

  • -----If you want but make sure you take a good multivitamin too or you'll soon get sick.

  • Please note that this test does not prove that the water is bad for you.

First off, The darkness is coming off the iron rod, the only reason the distilled water is not reacting as fast is because it's had the "dissolved solids" removed which are named as "contaminants". If you are smart and your are able to use reason you'll find out that the "dissolved solids" or "contaminates" are not bad for you they are necessary. These are minerals we need for our bodies please drink distilled water------

  • @evilwarlockofchaos

    right on!!

you know there something in it when even the animals stick there noses up at it.
