A simple taping technique to reduce stress on the patellar tendon, and in particular to alleviate pain and discomfort during activity in the case of patellar tendinopathy at the tibial tuberosity.

  • @korgmatose1 Thanks for the feedback. This is the way we usually teach our students to do it - but if the tendonitis is mild the prowrap method you mentioned often does the trick.

  • I haven't seen this before, but I like it a lot. I've usually just seen prewrap rolled around the knee five or six times and then rolled up, but that doesn't work so well with athlete's with hairy legs (quite painful while rolling!). Thanks for sharing!
