With our society we have gotten rid of natural selection of intelligent people. With this society being easy for the stupidest to reproduce in the highest numbers as they do. We are rewarding stupid people who reproduce the most with welfare and aid of grains.
We are empowering the lowest iq's in the world to becomet he majority.
Thus if we wish to keep the world's ave iq above 80 we must eventually resort to eugenics to weed out stupider humans that natural selection normally would.

Two populations remaining in two seprate geopgraphical regions and environmental niches will have greater opportunities for the development of novel genetic mutations that lead to "progress" than could ever possibly occur in one well MIXED population. In fact once everyone became mixed you would be in the same lack of "genetic diversity" boat using slitors argument.

If a group is too small, yes - but never has such degeneration been seen in a racial group (save maybe the jews!); as long as there are enough people this is not a problem. The 'homogenity = bad' argument is political and has no basis in reality. Japan, Britain, other isolated lands (indeed Europe as a whole) would have ceased to exist long ago if your theory was correct.
