Mana Khemia Bonus Dungeon Guide part 1


Bonus Dungeon is only accessible through second cycle. In order to tell you beat the game, there will be a symbol found on left side of your save file. The bonus dungeon will be available in chapter 8 when Old Schoolhouse Closed Area stage is unlock. Proceed to deep into dungeon to unlock quick warp point to the bonus dungeon. My best advice is to wait till Chapter 12 and to all your Ultimate Weapons/Armor/Items.


Inside the bonus dungeon have nastiest and most dangerous critters out there. All enemies stats are nearly double, not to mention there are some exclusive enemies you might encounter Magus, Rockwell, Fatebringer, Cobalt Scar, Abyss Keeper, Secret Gangster, Ganster Boss and Uber Ganster which look like previous boss you encountered, but hell lot stronger. These exclusive monsters are immune to physical attacks, special attacks that reduce percentage of health meter like Heaven's Gate and they can only receive damage from critical attacks or poison. The worst part is you can't run from these guys, you must beat them in order to proceed to your next destination.


Wow, these guys are really strong, what is the best strategy? Don't fight them. They aren't worth the extra time and effort. You probably max out most of your ap and these guys don't drop anything special, so avoid them. It's much faster to accumulate money or experience in any other dungeon. In daytime, start jumping over enemies when they move extremely slow. In nighttime, leave the system and do something else until daytime arrives like watching tv, eating dinner or take a dump. Also, build a large set of Treasure Capes to bypass all the enemies. All ingredients are really common and purchased at Academy shop stores. Amber Soup can be purchased at Infirmary. Silky Cloth and Chrone Crystal can purchased at Student Store.


Preparation

Step 1: You should probably get all ultimate weapons/armor and potent items in final stage in Campus Ground or AKA(also known as) Heart's Prison and fill all the grids for all characters.

Step 2: Add Critical(L) and Attack(L) to your weapons. This process is fairly simple since most ingredients inherit these properties.

Step 3: Build a lot of Treasure Capes.

Step 4: Gather the cores in bonus dungeon.

In bonus dungeon, there is a random chance that these "cores" will appear. Just speed rush through this stage by hoping over enemies and hunt those core until you find them. You might want to warp out with Wing of Icarus after find several cores you don't want to spend your time gathering all these items and get game over screen for fighting those naughty exclusive bonus dungeon enemies. Sometimes you might have bad luck and keep getting the same cores over and over again.

@arvok i do that all the time and the fact that almost everything she has on has crit m or L so much dmg done. i also use taunt so that yula and alvero do no dmg to me :P crowly on the other hand....hes annoying -_- pamela is also on the field at all times cuz of immortal body :P. on a side note: these bosses were so easy once you had symbol of uroborus and stone of alectora? something like that with character specail armor and weapon (acce weapon and armor all had crit m and l LOL)

Am I the only one who keeps Pamela at 1 health at all times (Because she's usually immune to everything or comes back with 1 hp 2 turns later if she dies) Just so I can spam "don't bully me"? XD

@HalfMoonBlade those three WEREN'T side characters.they were 3 of the 4(or 5 if you count uroborus,which I don't) main villains (alvero,yula,crowley,and ash) yula because of her betrayal to her sister and her selfishness,alvero for his lust of power,crowley for... whatever.and ash... I have no friggin Idea.

A challenge is good. I welcome having to fight her while she's able to use her powerful mana on you. Also, Edge is not basically Alvero. Alvero is basically Edge. Edge is the main character in AI3 while Alvero is a pathetic loser who keeps bugging you and giving you free experience cause he's such an easy boss and a lame character.

I just don't like having side characters as cameos instead of the main heroes. They could have had Edge and Nell switching blades mid-fight too.

i remember beating all of the dungeon. it was kinda easy, so easy that i defeated every boss for a living haha.
