This is me falling off my friend's horse Toby in 2005. My collarbone was broken in the process. (I was a very crappy rider back then, although I'm still not the greatest.)

Enjoy!

  • But, you've asked him to canter. At the beginning of the video you can see how your right leg goes up and the horse repeatedly tapping. And I would yield thee even if you were to me so torn in their mouths.

  • Why don't you read the comments below?

Listen to me -- I did not ask him to canter, I was a bad rider back then and had really only just started. He started cantering and I tried to stop him, but he wouldn't stop!

  • hmm that horse is way to big for you to handle then, it probably couldnt evan feel your aids. did you ask it to canter? becasue it probably didint evan know ther ewas a rider up there because you are so small, which caused it to think it was playtime and it could go for a run.

  • No, my best friend who was the owner of that horse is the same size as me and weighs the same as me. No I didn't ask him to canter, he took off on me, and being very inexperienced, I couldn't stop him

And he knew I was up there, he's not stupid

  • AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

    I filmed that =)

  • LOL

  • people should stop writing rude comments. i'm sure the girl knows now her mistakes, and she does not need you to tell her whats right from wrong. she has said what had happened, so why don't you just leave it?

haven't youymade mistakes? yes, i bet you have. everyone has.

so leave the poor girl alone! k?

  • i must say for a new rider you held on quite well lol most would be off in the first few steps.

  • @HorsePsycho he defiinatly could NOT weigh the same as you

  • @HorsePsycho

You weren't a bad rider, just inexperienced and in a situation any rider could easily get into. That is where inexperience went against you because you had some difficulty sitting that. I hope your still riding? If so, good for you :)

    Good luck with the future!

  • @blonde977 thats a bad excuse. a horse can feel one fly on his hock he definitly knew she was up there and just got mixed signals

  • yeah, been there done that :P ahaha

  • @blonde977 In all fairness, it doesn't matter how tall or short you are, as long as you are not so heavy that the horse is in physical pain trying to carry you, and are capable of controlling the horse - not that I'm saying she was in control during this ride - then there is no harm done. I think she did extremely well to stay on as long as she did, and has obviously learned her lesson. I'm not starting argument, I'm just saying.

  • you should enter my contset

  • must have been akward for your friend, she lendsyou a horse and you break a collar bone. yikes :P FUNNY.

  • aaw poor thing. you were so young ;/

must have been pretty scary. hope you were ok
