The only thing JWs know about the early Christians is what the WTBTS programmed into their minds. @HEisJerkova Jehovah's Witnesses follow EXACTLY the early disciples.They were not given to the lions because they didn't pay taxes,it was because they were followers of Jesus Christ.They did not believe in reincarnation, but believed in the RESURRECTION of those who have died from the memorial tombs-John 5:28,29.They performed resurrections, and saw Jesus perform them before they did. @Kieron1982 The early Christians had different beliefs then JWs. JWs beliefs are of the Romanized-Catholic, Constantine, & Pauline beliefs. You would be disfellowshipped by the WT for believing what the early Christians believed in. They believed in reincarnation, and they believed the god of the OT was evil. They also refused to pay taxes which is why they were thrown to the lions. The Roman Empire created the Pauline version of Christianity to enslave the people to submission.
