I am so ecstatic that you addressed that mindset so many Black American aqquire. You really do not notice how strong the influence of American media (or society) is on some black male mentalities. As a black female in America, I can definitely say that not all, but many Black men view Black women as if were their number one enemy. It's very strange, in deed.

Amen! I went through a similar situation.I didn't have a job for a half a yr&was sooo dwn about it. During the last few days of 11' I said to myself, "Why be ungrateful when I'm so blessed?".I have a mother that helps me w/ school&finances.I prayed that 2012 will be my yr of success&I will have a job. As of 1/4/12 I have a job! I love that you always want to stay positive even when negative things get thrown your way.I'm still learning how to stay positive&stay smiling. But anyways.Thank You:))
