Jane Paulsen, Ph.D., University of Iowa
Principal Investigator, PREDICT-HD 2.0

The PREDICT-HD 2.0 study uses a variety of tests to examine the nature and pattern of neurobiological changes and neurobehavioral changes that occur in the period leading up to a diagnosis of Huntington disease. Researchers are learning more about the beginning changes in thinking skills, emotional regulation, brain structure and brain function as a person begins the transition from normal health to Huntington disease.

Volunteer recruitment of gene positive, pre-symptomatic and gene negative individuals for PREDICT-HD 2.0 is ongoing. For more information, please visit our study website at:

  • Thanks I hope that the cure is discovered soon ...

  • We hope so too. We hope our search for the earliest signs of Huntington disease will help researchers design better clinical trials to find ways to treat HD.
