Wendi Richter vs. Leilani Kai

This glorious match from February 1985 pits World Women's Champ Wendi Richter against Leilani Kai and is the setup for their match at Wrestlemania I the following month. This match not only continues the bitter feud between Richter, Fabulous Moolah and Cyndi Lauper started the year prior, it actually kicks it up several notches. Anyone watching this match will understand why the Wrestlemania I match -- a little flat though it was, especially compared to this -- was billed as the "co-main event." There's a whole lot of heat here, and Richter, Kai and Moolah are all at the top of their game.
