Having done two TAFE courses in two different states (WA and QLD) on top of my private tertiary studies in Computer Science and Aviation, would have to say that whilst TAFE may be OK for blue collar trades - it is horrible for white collar trades or people wanting to improve themselves. For a start, the tutors aren't normally recent industry professionals, they often don't get back to you (takes days), the training materials are full of mistakes and poorly written. I wish I could be positive...

i dont know what to comment .... i'm a incoming student of TAFE soon ... i have a booklet and application form coming from TAFE ... i read every comment of u guys .... but am still willing to try and experience to be a student of TAFE .....

Tafe is fucking shit. I recently enrolled and Ive never experienced such appalling levels of service and education in my entire life. I am dropping out and going to uni. I called tafe at least a dozen times about my course trying to find out some information before I enrolled and it was virtually impossible. They have people on the phones who know nothing and cant even speak english very well. I wont go on but I will say i will never ever go back.

im thinkin of gion uni but tafe has put me into many optons i can chose for a nice highly paid job
