  • The kicks are too low (they are supposed to hit your opponent's knees) and he first technique lacks the block before the first strike (five swords pattern). You should make wider movements with your arms. Very good positions.

  • The kick in that part is done about 5 different ways that I know of and not all are to the knees. The one I did was to the shin. Also, not everyone does wide circles. Some people are taught with wider circles than others. Thanks for your comment.

  • If this were a constructive, helpful comment, I'd thank you for sharing, but it's not. And what your teacher does or doesn't do says nothing about you. Your comment, however, does.

  • You flow as a river of cardboard.

  • This coming from you? LOL. Your uke's reaction has become an inside joke for our whole class. That's funny.

  • nice job!!

  • Thanks! It was awhile ago. I'm gonna re-do it before long. :)

  • very nice. I like how you respond to the negative comments too

  • This is a basic form, you only base off to your left to a formal horse to start this form. Its not intill you get to short 3 which is Technique forms that you begin to show the scolar and the warrior intro. This form closes with a left to right close. Good work.

  • Good lord people, cant we all just get along, it's an art and each artist is different than another,, great job, keep working hard, it's also to be fun.. thanks charles wallace 3rd degree

  • Amy I would like to comment on some of these posts, as I have just learned this form. From what I understand of Long 2, the upper blocks are to be based upon someone who is your hight.(like you are fighting yourself). Second are they really upperblocks or more of an extended outward block.(before the eye pokes). As for the kicks being to high, I was taught the same way that you showed. So I guess in all what I am trying to say is keep up the great work and I hope one day to meet you in person

  • you should get your upward blocks higher, and put more power into your moves all throughout. Otherwise very good, well done

  • Nice Kata.

  • My teacher is a hell of alot better then this.
