Water Tower Inspection Kalamazoo - Mlive

Workers rappel off the top of the water tower at Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital on Oakland Drive to assess the condition the 1895 water which reaches 175 feet into the air. Engineers says the tower will need some maintenance but overall, it is in good shape. Building Restoration Inc. is working with Nehil-Sivak Consulting Structural Engineers of Kalamazoo to make the assessment.

I'm more interested in the patients. Did the state help the "insane?" Each patient is a unique irreplaceable human being. Does the state work as hard to restore people their dignity as they do to preserve this water tower?
