  • no, anarchy doesnt mean disorder. it means order without rulers. use an adults dictionary(one without pictures) that has more than one definition.

  • so glad i read the comic before i saw the movie

    same with watchmen

not trying to act like a fanboy or pretend like i knew about them way before the movies but thats just how it happened lol XD

  • haha anonymous, I wonder if Alan Moore knows about them.

  • I have no idea why I began that comment with "also".

  • Also, the scientology protestors wearing V-masks wore them because of a convoluted in-joke. A meme involved a stick-man called Epic Fail Guy wearing one, originally as some kind of topical reference.

I'm a bit embarrassed on Anonymous' behalf when people assume they saw themselves as being like V.

  • @UncomfortableSilence Read it. It'll still impress you, I know it did for me, and I saw the movie first. If anything, seeing the movie first helps. That way, you get an idea of who some of the people are, and of the basic situation. The book will give you a whole new set of people, and a different view of the ones you know. The movie suffered from ending with a literal bang rather than really explore V's limits, Evey's role, and the difference between rioting and genuine anarchy.

  • unlike democracy which leads to extreme laissez affaire and corporate control

  • @Eldritchard hahahaha, nice one, that's how u talk to kids, i literally gave 2 " hah!" when i read this post.

  • I loved the movie :3

  • @captaindiversity 1984 explains it as all 3 having different philosophies that all amount to the same thing. That's Oceania, East Asia, and Eurasia, and one was "death worship", one was "Ingsoc", and I can't remember Eurasia's but I believe it was equated to communism. But the point is fascism, communism, and extreme socialism all amount to the same thing, which is a lack of freedom.

  • funny about tony blair and hitler, Hitler preached a 'middle way' of corporatism, calling his party the 'national socialist party'....

he was big on God as well...

    according to wiki

  • i need to read V4V again. only read it once recently and didnt really get it because there were so many characters-it was like i knew it was good but i didnt understand. my fault really. bravo al
