this sounds just like be quiet and drive but i fucking love chevelle and i fucking love deftones. no harm done chevelle. whether it was pure coincidence or they were just inspired by deftones, it doesnt matter. both songs kick ass

@300daysandnights Yeah I agree. I've never heard the Dream Theater song but...as far as I'm concerned, no one sits there and goes, "Let's rip this band's song off so we can prove how unoriginal we really are." That shit pisses me off.

@Chevellefan01 it's only to chords that sound similar. but i wouldn't call it a rip. the main riff deftones ripped was their song My own summer. it sounds extremely similar to dream theater's a "change of seasons: the inevitable summer" ending riff. but it is similarly named so it could be a tribute.
