Metallica at the Wiltern - Seek and Destroy

I went to the Hullabaloo benefit concert to see Metallica and it was amazing! This is the closest I've been to the band at a concert and it was fantastic. The Wiltern floor has multiple levels, and I was on the first level above the pit, in the front row! I had the best vantage point from which to take pictures and videos (which I did) and I am presenting them here for you to enjoy. I only started recording half way into the show, because I first wanted to enjoy the show without fumbling around with the camera. Also, I never recorded a full song because I wanted to really rock out and enjoy every song, which is difficult to do while holding a camera, so please excuse the cuts/song incompleteness. The setlist was perfect, here it is:

Are they back? They never were away. All those dudes who blame the softness of previous albums, probably were too cheap to go see the gig. They always deliver live. I hope the new album will shut them (whiners) up, as it sounds killer.

The old Metallica sound was based on high treble, high bass, and cut mids. But their current tone incorporates more mid crunch. I would try Treble 9 Mid 5 Bass 6.5

THey usually play Seek & Destroy in D nowadays but this sounds alot higher.

Can't wait to see them again. Too bad Seek is played too slow.
