what are some good on road off road tires for this car
-
@crazy7997 well the engine booklets say that as long as it's not above 33% nitro it doesn't effect engine life. and yeah....my nitro sport's being a pain in the dick...

Hey, I pulled mine out of stirage after 2 years anf have a few issues. I cleaned out the engine and put gas in it and pluged in the e-z start and it sould very close to turning over but wouldent. Is it the spark plug (witch has 30-40 starts on it) or somthing more serious? Thanks

why do you say 2 gallons? is that just for the pro .15? b/c i know the 2.55 and 3.3 last for way more than 2 gallons.

@scbjgs I pushed that little engine hard. I had it turning a bare minumal 5k RPM over stock. I was trying anything to get the most out of that .15. Oh and the engines are .15 =.15cc , 2.5=.18cc , 3.3=.20cc. You got me why they didn't go all the way to .21 with their 3.3.
Another thing that was hard on it was that I was running 32% fuel in it. I hope I can get the funds again some day to continue seeing how much power I can get out of a .15 engine.

sorry taking so long. When you mean turning over you mean almost starting? If you haven't, take off the carb and take out the two needle valves and spray carb cleaner through the carb. Might be some left over nitro fuel that has gumed up the fuel passages. And I would go ahead and put a new stock glow plug in it. The engine is usually good for two or so gallons of fuel. If still don't run let me know.

If you do not have an infared tempature gauge, get one. They don't like to run good until they are above 200F. When it is cold out you might have to use some foil or something to cover the bottom two or three fins on the engine to get the temp up and if you have the windshield cut out to cool the engine, you will want to tape over that. But if you have used two plus gallons of fuel so far. More than likely it needs a new piston and cylinder.

The engine. Bearing w/seals, bronze guide and pinston and sleeve only lasted for about one gallon of 33% After that and the enginge became a nightmare to tune. But I think I could of gotten a little bit more power if I could of gotten the engine up on the pipe at the higher rpms. Oh and finding the perfect plug. But oh well it is electric now and a lot more FUN.
